telehealth available in Texas & New Mexico
Inclusive therapy for neurodivergent & LGBTQ+ Folx & Allies
Welcome!
We are so glad youβre here.
Life is hard enough, thereβs no reason seeking support through therapy should make it any more difficult. As a part of the LGBTQ+ and Queer community, we understand the unique challenges folx face in our current political landscape in the US and especially Texas.
We are founded on the belief that therapy should be a place you feel safe, seen, and connected. Whether this is your first time in therapy, or youβve been in therapy before - in the therapy space youβre the expert on you. Our role is to use the therapeutic relationship to help you make sense of the chaos and determine a path forward that best suits you. This can look like healing attachment wounds; exploring your past, present, and future; or focusing on a specific issue to troubleshoot solutions.

More about us
We welcome folx of all backgrounds and abilities. Therapy is a vulnerable and oftentimes challenging process and we acknowledge that the systems that surround us are complicated and flawed. To ensure we are doing our part to further social change, we are committed to anti-racism, social justice, and the work we do is body-positive, sex-positive, neurodivergent friendly, and trauma responsive. Weβre also experienced in working with polyamorous clients, the kink community, and sex-workers.
The therapist behind Heartlines Counseling is Erica Heller, LCSW, LCDC. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, I believe in the importance of recognizing our strengths that have brought us here and helped us to survive thus far. Regardless of what your history may look like, your future here will be met with sincerity and compassion. As humans we have the ability to feel, grow, change, and continue to move forward.
